Hrm. I think I liked the name Comet much better! Then again, I liked the name Revolution better too. But still...Vox is finally getting the word out! I saw a TechCrunch posting about it and I was immediately all proud of having been an alpha tester. Yay!
Does this mean I should change my "notcomet" tag to vox? Hmmm...

Just wanted to pass along this screenshot to you. It looks like the blockquote's styling (the lines) is appearing on a layer underneath the picture; not sure if this is expected behavior or if you wanted to know.
I've never really been involved in an alpha before - beta testing, but not alpha - am I giving too much feedback?
Just sent this in for Comet.
I get an error when attempting to use coComment to comment on any Comet blog. It first pops up the usual coComment overlay saying it's been sent, but then I get a browser chrome dialog box telling me it hasn't been sent after all because the text was not received correctly. I'm using the coComment Greasemonkey extension, by the way. Just wanted to let you know about this issue so you can make Comet coComment-compatible (say that three times fast) if you like.
It's not something I expect they will pay a lot of attention to, but I figured I'd mention it anyway.
Another problem I ran into. This one is actually a problem on LiveJournal too. This is why, for right now at least, there is a tag called "titanic movies" - that was meant to be two tags. (On LJ the offending tag is "rants corset" - also meant to be two separate tags.)
There doesn't seem to be any way to delete a tag from your tag list. Suppose I accidentally tagged something "monke" when I meant to tag it "monkey." I can remove the "monke" tag and add the tag "monkey" - but the "monke" tag is still in my tag list. (This happens in LiveJournal, too.)
Added: Oops! I didn't realize I still had a movie tagged with "titanic movies" - once I got rid of that, it was okay. I sent this followup to feedback:
Ack, nevermind. The reason the tag wasn't going away was because I still had a movie tagged with that tag. Once I got rid of that, everything was fine. But perhaps this should be more explicit?
I just sent the following to the feedback for Comet:
I don't like that the same list is used for people we want to keep track of, and people we want to allow to access protected entries. I suppose I could just put all of the people I want to keep track of as friends and all of the people I want to allow private access as family and use the groups that way, but that defeats the point of the group names and makes connections who are not friends or family obsolete.
So we'll see if they do anything with that.
