I haven't been watching movies much lately - I've had my current Netflix holdings for about a month now.  I finally watched one of them but I left it at a friend's house, so I'm going to pick it up this weekend.  (I didn't leave the sleeve or the red envelope, or I'd just have him mail it back!)  I'm a little worried that my latest mail-back hasn't turned up as returned...I think this is the first time this has happened so I'm not sure what to do about it.  I don't think six days have passed yet, so I can't report it missing yet...but they've always gotten there the next day in the past and it's been at least three days now.

I haven't posted in a long time, partly because I haven't really been watching any movies lately.  But I'm going to be embarking on a new movie-watching project.  Last night I managed to hook up my DVD recorder so it can record flawlessly from tape and VHS.  I have a video "enhancer" (also known as a video "stabilizer") that will enable me to record from copyrighted VHS onto DVD, so I can make DVD copies of all the VHS movies we don't watch anymore.  I bought a spindle of DVD-R discs for $7 and a CD case for $2, and I am going to start watching my VHS movies as I record them to DVD.  And no, I'm not planning to sell them...it's just because we never watch VHS anymore, and they're stored in a different part of the house, so when we're looking for a movie to watch we forget about the VHS and only browse the DVD collection.

One DVD I probably will make copies of, though, is from my It's Academic shows.  I have a VHS tape with my four TV appearances, and I want to make copies to send to my teammates and probably copies for my parents as well.  I'm not going to bother making separate copies for the separate years; the teammates from my junior year can just ignore the shows from my senior year, and vice-versa.
